ISO CERTIFICATION
The European Union (EU) has approved a directive (EU Directive
2002/95/EC) to restrict the use of six chemicals from the
manufacturing process. The six chemicals are Lead (Pb), Mercury
(Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent Chromium (CrV1), Polybrominated
Biphenyls (PBB) and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE). The
directive states that members of the EU shall ensure that after July 1,
2006, newly marketed items of electrical and electronic equipment

DFARS - 252.225.7014
The DFARS 252.225.7014 Clause, Preference for Domestic Specialty
requires certain “specialty metals” incorporated in articles delivered
under DoD contracts be melted in the United States or a “qualifying
country” (or incorporated in an article manufactured in a qualifying
country), unless specific exceptions apply of a Secretarial exception
